Here’s a little hope for humanity.
After yet another tragic mass shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas last Sunday where 26 people were killed, people nationwide have run to the support of the victims.
Through nearly 15,000 donations and 17 GoFundMe accounts, over $1 millions has been raised to help the victims with medical and funeral costs.
It does not stop there!
Trey Ganen, owner of Trey Ganen Designs says he wants the victims to know, “We’re here for you.” So, Monday the casket maker released a video that went viral, offering his services completely free! Talk about helping hand!

What a turn around!
Two years after former TV anchor, Chris Hurst watched as his girlfriend was fatally shot on-air, he claims a win over a three-term incumbent state delegate in rural Virginia.
While it was expected for Gurst to run on stricter gun safety measures, he simply supported them and centered his campaign on other issues including expansion of Medicaid and increased school funding.
Hurst defeated GOP Rep. Joseph Yost with a 54%-46% lead, numbers that are almost identical to Democratic candidate Ralph Northam’s margin of victory over Republican Ed Gillespie. Here’s an interview after his win with MSNBC.
The VA is on a roll!
An openly transgender democrat and former journalist defeated incumbent Republican candidate Del. Bob Marshall, known as the self-proclaimed ‘Chief Homophobe.’
Danica Rome is set to make history as the first openly transgender elected official.
Del. Marshall has served in Virginia’s House of Delegates since 1992. He introduced a ‘bathroom bill’ earlier this year requiring people to use the restroom according to the corresponding gender on their birth certificate. Luckily, the bill never made it out of a republican-led committee.
And that is Today’s Good News!
