The Weekend Recap #11

Welcome to the second Weekend Recap. This is for all of you that have been too busy over the week and want to get a couple moments to catch up!

It’s been a while but it’s time for the return of  The Weekend Recap! This is for all of you that have been too busy over the week and want to get a couple of moments to catch up!

This week’s posts:

Summary: This week was about building on the foundation of the new direction that Everything’s Magnificent is heading in. It has been a few weeks since we’ve added the amazing Lumi.Essence to the writing staff and she came through strong with another new series for the site: Spotlight. Spotlight is designed to draw attention to the talents of others that we believe are noteworthy. Also, this week marked a transition of The Good News to an actual reporter: RoRenee. Also, a welcome post was created and I spoke on praying without ceasing.

Favorite Post of the Week: My favorite post has to go to Jasmine Douglas’ or Naida Lynn’s Spotlight. Both posts were filled with admiration and love that definitely makes me what to explore more about those two special ladies’ art.

Personal Lesson: Staying in Christ and allowing the process to work its way out is difficult but necessary. Continual contact with God is something I want to improve on.

Blog Updates: Two new writers, new series, launch of our social media pages, and further organization of site to be more focused an easier to navigate. So much has changed and we plan for it only to continue.

Personal Update: I’m so happy to have some help while I pull my academic life together. I’m definitely reflecting on identity and ways to help others be the best they can be. I meet a new psychiatrist next week and two of my close friends are coming to visit for homecoming/Halloween. I’m super excited!!

As Always,

Turn your brightness up!
