The Weekend Recap #6

Welcome to the second Weekend Recap. This is for all of you that have been too busy over the week and want to get a couple moments to catch up!

We made it to NUMBER SIX of the Weekend Recap. This is for all of you that have been too busy over the week and want to get a couple of moments to catch up!

This week’s posts:

Summary: This week was full of appreciating the opportunities afforded to me. I reflected on the Mothers in my life and Soul Food.  I met two people who I definitely will be working with in the future with content production with a Christian background without the religious hegemony. Took some time to myself and checked in on people’s person progress with their goals. Created a space for some of my late night thoughts and finally talked about one of my favorite new singers, Daniel Caesar.

Favorite Post of the Week: I definitely feel like the New Years Check In was the most focused and to the point I made this week. It’s all about not quitting, whether you are doing great or not.

Personal Lesson: God wants you to be open to Opportunities and the blessings that come with them. You must be patient and let Him work as you grow.

Blog Updates: This week was a little more fluid than planned with most of my scheduled posts getting pushed to next week. Especially since I am starting a new position, I have to schedule in the proper time while getting my life together. Hopefully, I will be more on task next week.

Personal Update: I started a job working with students in the newly rechristened University’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The first program, North Carolina Renaissance was a success with the best high school sophomores I’ve ever met. I also am working on this whole sleeping thing. It’s getting better.

Next Week(Tentative): Consequences, To Potential Bloggers, North Carolina Renaissance, Smino’s Blkswn Review, and more.

As Always,

Turn your brightness up
